This homemade vegan facial wash/cleanser takes minutes to prepare and only includes two ingredients:
- Ground oats
How to make:
Simply add regular oats to a food processor until you are left with an ‘oat powder’. Store the dry ground oats in a container.
How to use:
Add a teaspoon of water to a tablespoon of the ground oats to the palm of your hand when ready to use. Mix together until you get a ‘lumpy paste’. Apply to your face (or just problem areas) and rinse afterwards.
This facial wash proved very effective for getting rid of acne and drying very oily skin. It may have too much of a ‘drying effect’ for naturally dry skin, but you may have to experiment.
Not only is it cheap and easy to make but you can be confident that this skin care product has not been tested on animals and does not contain any animal products, animal by-products or nasty chemicals you don’t want on your skin.
1 cup of ground oats should last between 3 weeks and 1 month (assuming you use it twice a day).
